Konnichiwa!
After spending a day in Hiroo, eating indocurry for the second day in
a row....my body HATES me.
I guess I'm glad its Pday so I can just lay around today.
This week was good. We now have 5 progressing investigators. We found
2 new ones yesterday too! So we are on a roll!
Last week was good. Just very busy...we had at least 1 lesson if not
more everyday last week. It feels good to be doing more teaching than
finding.
I think this week really made up for the 6-7 canceled appointments
from the week before.
On Sunday we performed in the Matsudo Christmas concert. We had a TON
of investigators show up. It was like a missionary concert. There are
some REALLY talented missionaries in our mission. Some of my friends
are super talented!
It was fun seeing a bunch of people. Recently, I feel like
I've seen alot of people. I guess with the Evans conference, and then
the missionary concert and then today at the temple, I really have seen everyone!
Today's temple trip was fun. It was the temple. I got a Japanese mini
Book of Mormon. I've been wanting one for a while. Now I have motivation to read
the scriptures written in Japanese....because they are pretty :)
This week was Thanksgiving. It didn't really feel like
it but it was pretty good. We had a lesson with a few investigators.
We went to S----- san's house and she fed us a ton of food. A year ago,
I never pictured myself picking a tentacle out of my
teeth after Thanksgiving dinner. lol I haven't really
had much of an appetite since.... but recently, people
have just been feeding us and I've had to eat out for appointments. My wallet and my stomach can't handle it anymore though!
Luckily this week...we just have alot of busy
time/meetings/exchanges...so hopefully I can go back to eating kind of
normally.
I'm definitely finding that busy missionaries with lots of
appointments are the HAPPIEST.
We had a blitz yesterday....and we found a kin jin! (Golden
investigator) That was so awesome.
Japan has been decorated for Christmas since the end of Halloween, but
it just doesn't feel like an American Christmas. I'm missing that part
of home ALOT. Luckily, due to the fact that we have been so busy....I
haven't had much time to think about it, so it's been alright.
I continue to comment....but more than that, be amazed, by how FAST
this mission is going by. It's just crazy.
Transfer calls are this week. I'm nervous but also excited. You never
know what might happen :)
Life's good as a 3rd transfer missionary.
Here's to being a 4th transfer missionary next time I email!
Gunbarro Nippon!
